Modular Series

A collection of ink drawings conceived as individual entities or as combinable visual modules.

Originally created for applications in product and interior design, the series invites layering, repetition, and spatial dialogue.

Modular Series is a collection of drawings conceived as an open visual system. They are connected by their biomorphic character, delicate line work, and a strong emphasis on negative space. The white surface is not just a background—it becomes an active part of the composition, a silence that surrounds and defines the form.

Each of the twelve motifs can stand alone, yet they are designed to combine into new configurations. The series invites visual compositions that can be layered, repeated, or rearranged, creating rhythm, movement, and spatial tension.

Originally drawn in A3 format, the high level of detail allows for easy enlargement and color adaptation. The visual language of the series lends itself to various design contexts—from large-scale wallpaper and textile design to packaging and applications on porcelain or other objects.

Modular Series offers a flexible yet unified visual foundation for shaping space, identity, or product—each drawing holds its own autonomy while remaining part of a greater whole.
